New York, New York - part 1
The Prayer Assignment for New York City was complex. There were four specific geographical areas where we were told to pray and prophesy, plus hold two Ekklesia Rallies. We left for New York on the morning of August 11, and traveled to Wilkes-Barra, PA for an overnight Boondock stay at the Salvation Army facilities. We were very blessed and thankful for Tom & Joan Pierce for their gracious hospitality. On Monday afternoon, August 12, we checked into the KOA campgrounds at Newburgh, NY. This would become our basecamp for the week ahead. Chad Forth was also camped there, just a short walk through the woods from our campsite. It was a very peaceful and quite place for us to have great fellowship and prayer times as the Holy Spirit gave specific strategies for the various assignments.
