New York - Rally #2
A huge bonus included in the Prayer Assignment to the Ten Cities is having the privilege to meet brothers and sisters in person that we have only seen in a Zoom Room. On August 17th, after completing our Prayer Assignment in NYC, we traveled to Staten Island for an Ekklesia Rally with Maureen McAllan. Stanton Island is one of the five Boroughs of New York City. However, it does not look like NYC. It looks more like any city you would see elsewhere in the State of New York. It is filled with trees and city parks. It is the least densely populated suburb of New Your City, with only about a half million residents. Staten Island is considered the most politically conservative of the five boroughs. In 1993, 65% of the residents voted to secede from the greater city of New York. However, the State Assembly blocked the vote.
Maureen has been leading two local Ekklesias as well as participating in an online Ekklesia and she also is one of our Chain Breaker Team Prayer Call Leaders. It was a great blessing to join in on one of her Ekklesia meetings Saturday afternoon. The worship time was powerful and anointed! Jesus was present in the meeting and His Spirit led us all to participate. There were prophetic words shared and people were prayed for and healed as they sat in the Mercy Seat. During the Prayer Time the Lord made it clear that the Judgments from Heaven about to come upon NYC will not affect Staten Island. He said, "I go with the heart of the people, and the people voted their heart." We laid hands on Maureen and in prophetic prayer spiritual gifts and apostolic anointing were imparted, as the Lord said, "You are my appointed Apostle of Staten Island." The revelation of Ekklesia and the preaching of the Gospel of the Kingdom was loosed on Staten Island! The entire Island was claimed for the Kingdom of God, and the Angel Armies of Heaven were called forth to be the adjudicators of the decisions of the Ekklesia. After the prayer time we all enjoyed homemade Italian Lasagna and Italian Sausage in pasta sauce. To top it off we greatly enjoyed the New York Style Cheese Cake. When I went to get mine from the server pedestal, two pieces stuck together.
